Highness Hotel - Guishan

I had a fantastic stay during my recent city trip! The staff were super friendly and spoke great English, making everything so smooth. I loved the breakfast buffet, especially with its mix of Taiwanese and Western options. Plus, the location is perfect-just a hop away from Chang Gung Hospital, and nearby places like a 24-hour McDonald's and an awesome dumpling shop!

On the downside, the gym could use some serious upgrades, as the AC was non-functional and the treadmill was kinda outdated. the Wi-Fi was only wired, which was a bit inconvenient. But overall, the experience was good!

We stayed for five nights due to my husband’s fellowship at a nearby hospital. The hotel was conveniently located, and we enjoyed our spacious room which came with daily cleaning and fresh toiletries. Breakfast was good, offering a nice blend of Western and Asian options. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English, making our stay even more enjoyable. Having a hot boiling water tap in the room was a fantastic touch!

The hotel's location was great for access to the airport and nearby attractions. the neighbourhood had plenty of shops, restaurants and convenience stores. We enjoyed the tasty and affordable options at the local dumpling shop and Tasty chain. the hotel provided clean and comfortable rooms, with great toiletries and daily replenishment. the staff were friendly and spoke great English, always providing prompt service. the inclusive breakfast buffet had a variety of Asian and Western cuisine options. the fitness center had basic equipment for a quick workout.

The gym lacked air conditioning, which made it difficult to exercise, especially in the humid climate.
